Economy won't stop Obama from spending

Wow. This is what Obama's aides say. Despite all that is going on with our economy and the current levels of spending that is going on, Obama is going to spend taxpayers' money through the nose for his plans on universal healthcare.

John Podesta, co-chair of Obama's transition team, is saying that Obama will do whatever it takes to bring about universal healthcare, end our dependance on foreign oil, and reforming public education.

We've spent over $700 billion; let's spend a little more!

"Obama's stimulus proposals have been estimated to cost around $190 billion."

And the Senate is planning to bring out a stimulus package that Senate Republicans defeated. The government will probably spend close to a trillion dollars...just for economic stimulus. Imagine the taxation that will exist.

If the economy goes under and the deficit grows further under Obama, this is why.
